I rarely write reviews, but the service that DD at Personal Drivers returning my car from Portland, Maine to my home in Atlanta Georgia, was above and beyond my expectations. For years I have used a major common carrier to ship my car both to and from where we stay for the summer. It's never been a huge problem, but we always had to arrange early and I had to make arrangements where and when to ship the car. This year the shipping company (broker) totally messed up and couldn't make arrangements, so for the first time in years we ended up driving for 25 hours. It was not fun. I looked to see if there were personal services that shipped cars, and thankfully landed on the Personal Drivers site. From the get-go, DD was extremely helpful, and she arranged for a driver, Rch Ballard, to drive. I had the car in 2 days and he was delightful. Is this more $ that a common carrier? Yes. But I will never go back to the hassle when this service and company did such a great job. Thanks DD and Rich. I'll be calling next year when we go back to Maine.

DD and Team at Personal Drivers were AMAZING from the minute I reached out to them. I had hired a car shipping company to ship my truck from Western NY to AZ but waited almost a month and they still could not get me definitive pick up or drop off times. When I reached out to Personal Drivers last minute and on a holiday, they immediately responded and put my mind at ease that they could get this done. Within a couple of hours, I signed the agreement and had a perfect pick-up time scheduled. The Driver, Andrew, reached out soon thereafter and we made a plan to meet at the airport with the truck, and he would take it from there. Andrew is retired Law Enforcement, and I immediately felt comfortable with him driving my Truck across the country. DD, Andrew and the Team at Personal Drivers deserve 10 stars! They went above and beyond. Andrew kept me informed along the way and even showed up early to drop the truck! If you need a vehicle driven, my recommendation would be to reach out to DD and the Team! They do great work!

During sale of our home in Colorado with planned move to Florida my husband had to have emergency spinal surgery leaving him unable to drive. I came across Personal Drivers & a wonderful Lady named DD. With short notice she was able to line us up with the best driver ever, Bill Graul. Bill stepped in & did things my husband wasn't able to do. He helped getting the small U-haul box trailer attached to our car, helped me to get new windshield wipers. Most of all, he smiled during the cross-country trip with our two cats. One of them was not happy at all about traveling that far! We arrived safely to our destination without a hitch. I feel blessed to have found these folks on such short notice. If anyone reading this needs a driver for any purpose do not hesitate to give Professional drivers a call & speak with DD. This was a very last minute need on our part, and DD from Personal Drivers was extremely responsive. We first spoke at noon on Sunday and she had identified a driver by three in the afternoon. The driver, Dan, was ready to take our twenty-six foot Uhaul truck from Denver to Chicago at eight AM Tuesday morning. Dan was great... communicative, professional and very punctual. The process was seamless, I would 100% recommend personal drivers.

The trip I booked through Personal Drivers went without a hitch, thanks to the efforts of D.D. and Brian McCarthy. My mom, 79 years old, her poodle, and 27 pet turtles had to make an interstate move. I looked at AmRide and Dryver and saw a lot of complaints about drivers not showing up. Nothing like that for Personal Drivers. My mom's health and wellbeing were at stake, and I just couldn't risk it, so that 's why I chose Personal Drivers. The paperwork was daunting, but in the end that meant D.D. had all the bases covered to ensure a safe trip. Brian McCarthy was a wonderful driver, kind and solicitous to my mom and Molly the poodle. He even asked ahead of time what the turtles needed for their safety, which was to stay in a certain temperature range, and what our planned safety measures were. The temperature rose during the trip and he helped my mom implement the plan--hooray! Everyone arrived safe and sound. Much gratitude!!!

Very professional service, great people to deal with. No gaps and the Driver Michael Duane Orr communicated will and took great care of the unit on the almost 2000 mile journey to reach its final destination. Email and text every day at the end of his days driving and communicated how the unit performed. Would use this service again and request Michael again.

A heartfelt thank you to Dan from “Personal Drivers”, who drove BoBo, my four year old Golden Retriever in my car all the way from Washington to California over two days.Before I even signed the contract, I spoke with Dan on the phone. There was such a calmness and kindness in his voice that, I felt I could trust him with the most precious thing in my life. That conversation immediately put me at ease. It was especially important as I was recovering from a back injury and couldn’t drive myself. Over the next two days, he proved that first impression right. He made regular stops so BoBo could stretch, drink water, and get some fresh air, patiently handled the inevitable stress of a long journey, and kept me updated throughout with messages and photos. Even though I couldn’t be there, I always knew how BoBo was doing. When you entrust someone with your dog, you’re placing a tremendous amount of faith in them. Dan honored that trust with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care every mile of the journey. Thank you, Dan, and thank you, Personal Drivers, for getting my little boy safely to his new home. I’ll always be grateful that BoBo’s first big move was with someone who cared for him as more than just another passenger.

DD at personal Drivers was great to work with and was able to help us out with logistics for our family vacation. Don Rollins was professional and safe great conversation and a relaxing ride! He got us from Acton CA to our cruise in Long Beach put our 35’ winnabago into storage. After our cruise Don retrieved our RV from storage and drove us back to Acton. It was a short drive but I don’t know what we would have done without him!

Driver, Bill G. showed up on time, was pleasant and professional. Got to destination on time and handled some last second changes with key drop off with no problems. Gas and tolls estimate was very accurate and nice to get $32 back. The price was much more reasonable than other quotes I had gotten. At the last minute, after business hours, we needed to add a u-haul trailer to the 20 foot truck and were charged just a token fee for this by DD, who was amazing throughout.

We had a fantastic experience with Personal Drivers last week moving a U-Haul 15' truck full of belongings from NC to NH. They communicated well at every step of the way. Their driver, Bill Graul, was very professional and courteous. He was diligen in his inspection of the truck each day and provided progress reports when he stopped each night, including photos of the truck. Just a great experience overall.

By far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with anything logistics and/or move related. Contacted Personal Drivers to move my truck from Virginia to Texas. Even given a tight turn time, scheduling was a breeze. DD was a joy to work with and provided all information in a very straight forward and digestible way which made things even easier. William (Bill) provided great updates throughout his trip in to VA to pick up the truck, provided great updates throughout his drive to TX; and during the drop off, which was exactly on schedule. There’s so many variables that can come into play and I expected some challenges but there were none at all. I felt very comfortable throughout the experience and will absolutely use them again for future needs. Again, thank you so much DD and Bill!!!

I hired Personal Drivers to transport myself and 2 dogs from Florida to Michigan in my 40’ RV. Electronic communication with DD was very responsive and efficient from my initial inquiry. She also checked in with me during the trip to ensure my satisfaction. Duane Michael Orr far exceeded my expectations for this service. He was calm, professional, polite, a safe driver and even possessed a good sense of humor. Like any road trip, some flexibility may be required and I found my driver very accommodating. I don’t believe I could have hired a better company or driver and will definitely book again.
